Enhancing Cheek Bones (Malar Implants)

The desire for enhanced cheek contours, greater facial balance, and improved symmetry leads thousands of people annually to undergo cheek implants, known as malar augmentation. Synthetic implants are placed on top of the cheekbones during surgery. The implants are inserted through small incisions inside the mouth, above the upper gum.
